Architect and Engineer’s Specifications: 
MP-MFC Controller

The wall-mount controller shall be designed for use with the QSC MP-M business music and paging digital zone mixers. It shall have a faceplate compatible with Leviton Decora® wall plates and shall come in two physical versions that fit North American-style or European-style wall gang boxes.
The controller shall have two RJ45 jacks for connection via Category 5 (“Cat 5”) network cable to the mixer and for daisy-chaining to another controller. The maximum allowable Cat 5 cable run from mixer to the last controller shall be 250 meters, with as many as four controllers along it. The last controller on the run shall require that a resistive terminator—included with the controller—be plugged into one of its RJ45 ports.
The faceplate shall have at the top a 128 × 128 pixel black and white graphic display with a 26 × 27 mm viewing area. Under the display shall be a vertical arrangement of three buttons: an increment/scroll up button and a decrement/scroll down button, marked with up and down arrows respectively, and a rectangular “select” button in the middle. The increment and decrement buttons shall wrap symmetrically around the “select” button.
The controller’s functions shall be programmable via an app on an Android or Apple iOS tablet or software on a Mac OS or Windows PC. Each controller shall have a unique ID so that the program assigned stays with it regardless of where and in what order it is connected to the mixer. Typical functions assigned to the controller shall include, but are not limited to, volume increase or decrease, source select, and scene/preset recall.
Both the North American and European versions shall be available in white or black. The dimensions of the North American version shall be 11.4 cm (4.5 in) high, 7.0 cm (2.75 in) wide, and 3.5 cm (1.4 in) deep. The dimensions of the European version shall be 8.9 cm (3.5 in) high, 8.9 cm (3.5 in) wide, and 3.6 cm (1.4 in) deep. The net weight of the controller shall be 0.1 kg (0.2 lb).
The wall-mount controller shall be the QSC MP-MFC.
