E10 The professional high-power installation loudspeaker system shall be a two-way full-range design incorporating a 10-inch (254 mm) low frequency transducer with 2.5-inch (64 mm) voice coil and a compression driver with a 1-inch exit and 1.75-inch (45 mm) voice coil mounted in a ported enclosure. The loudspeaker system shall have a built-in passive crossover network that cannot be bypassed. The polar beamwidth of the compression driver's waveguide shall be conical and at the 1.8 kHz crossover region shall match that of the woofer, to ensure flat sound-power response. The loudspeaker system shall meet the following performance criteria: frequency response of 68 Hz to 20 kHz, defined by the -6 dB points and measured on-axis; sensitivity (2.83 V rms, measured @ 1 m) of 95 dB SPL in free field; peak SPL of 126 dB at 1 m; rated power capacity of 49 V rms or 300 W based on a two-hour power test using IEC60268 noise; nominal impedance of 8 ohms. The loudspeaker system's nominal coverage shall be conical at 85 degrees. The loudspeaker system input connectors shall be two parallel NL4 Speakon connectors, with the loudspeaker connected to terminals 1+ and 1-, as well as a barrier strip with screw terminals. The loudspeaker enclosure shall be constructed of 11-ply 15 mm eucalyptus core plywood, finished in a textured paint waterborne finish (RAL 9011). The front grille shall be constructed of 16-gauge steel, powder coated also in RAL 9011 black. The grille shall be lined with acoustically transparent foam backing to enhance its appearance. The enclosure shall have six M8 suspension points for eyebolts or an optional yoke mount, as well as a dual-angle 35 mm pole socket that permits the enclosure to stand on a pole straight up (0 degrees) or angled downward (10 degrees). The loudspeaker system enclosure shall be 22 in (560 mm) high, 13 in (329 mm) wide, and 13 in (330 mm) deep. The loudspeaker shall have a net weight of no more than 44 lb (20 kg). The two-way full-range loudspeaker system shall be the QSC E10.
